Possible modifier combinations: NONE, SHIFT, CTRL+ALT, SHIFT+CTRL+ALT.

Type the back-tick (`) followed by a letter to get that letter with an grave accent.

Type the apostrophe (') followed by a letter to get that letter with an acute accent or a cedilla.

Type the generic double quote (") followed by a letter to get that letter with a diaresis.

Type the caret (^) followed by a letter to get that letter with a circumflex accent.

Type the tilde (~) followed by a letter to get that letter with a tilde.
