Walking around the Naardermeer

The Naardermeer is a small lake near Naarden (which is near Bussum, which is near Hilversum, which is near Amsterdam) with large banks. The walk around it is still more than ten miles. Naardermeer is the oldest Dutch nature preserve.

More winter 2007 in Amsterdam. Daffodils are typically called paasbloemen (’Easter flowers’) in Dutch, indicating the time when they usually bloom.
